Una de las cosas que se ha intentado implementar \u00faltimamente en la educaci\u00f3n, y m\u00e1s en estos momentos a distancia, es la tecnolog\u00eda de la realidad aumentada (AR, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) para mejorar el rendimiento de los estudiantes y sus resultados de aprendizaje. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hace la AR?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Los inicios de la realidad aumentada<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La&nbsp; AR se remonta a los a\u00f1os 90; su primera implementaci\u00f3n fue en 1917 con&nbsp; Morton Heiling,&nbsp;un cinemat\u00f3grafo que propon\u00eda una experiencia multisensorial al usuario compuesta por elementos visuales, sonoros y olfativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, en 1973 el artista inform\u00e1tico Myron W. Krueger, cre\u00f3 la primera&nbsp; instalaci\u00f3n de realidad aumentada que mezclaba c\u00e1maras de video con un sistema de proyecci\u00f3n, para crear un entorno interactivo que respond\u00eda a los movimientos de los usuarios por medio de sombras y movimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualmente,&nbsp;la AR es una caracter\u00edstica con la que cuentan varios dispositivos tecnol\u00f3gicos; su funci\u00f3n recae en generar o proyectar elementos virtuales al mundo f\u00edsico como paisajes, as\u00ed como ver cosas peque\u00f1as como insectos o partes de nuestro cuerpo en tama\u00f1o m\u00e1s grande para tener una mejor comprensi\u00f3n sobre estas. Cabe destacar que su funci\u00f3n de proyectar elementos virtuales puede ser usada de diversas formas, ya sea para educaci\u00f3n, entretenimiento, juegos etc. Estos \u00faltimos implementan la AR mediante los celulares, hacen uso de su c\u00e1mara y su capacidad sensorial para brindar una experiencia \u00fanica a las personas. Un ejemplo de esto es a trav\u00e9s de juegos en los que el usuario puede ver elementos del mismo juego proyectados en su entorno, y su movimiento provoca el movimiento del personaje del juego.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Realidad aumentada para la educaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualmente, la AR se puede usar para videojuegos, publicidad, y moda; con enfoque en diferentes \u00e1reas como deporte, ciencias o aprendizaje.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el sector educativo, la AR se puede utilizar para aprender de forma m\u00e1s efectiva, pues con ayuda de&nbsp; proyecciones virtuales en 3D de animales, partes del cuerpo, vegetaci\u00f3n, y cualquier otro elemento, los estudiantes pueden&nbsp; hacer uso de su sentido de la vista, auditivo y&nbsp; t\u00e1ctil para que su aprendizaje sea m\u00e1s interactivo y divertido. Por ejemplo,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=unka-i5CDk4&amp;t=1s\">&nbsp;este video&nbsp;<\/a>muestra un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo la AR es de gran ayuda para docentes y alumnos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La AR promueve tambi\u00e9n&nbsp; actividades de exploraci\u00f3n que hacen al usuario preguntarse qu\u00e9 hay detr\u00e1s de la imagen y&nbsp; ver m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo que su vista le permite ver; esto les permite desarrollar nuevas habilidades, conceptos y lenguajes por medio de distintas aplicaciones como:&nbsp;<strong>4D Anatomy<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>FETCH! Lunch Rush y JigSpace etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este tipo de aplicaciones busca usar el&nbsp; juego como una manera de hacer que el usuario muestre valores tales como libertad y responsabilidad, con acciones voluntarias y agradables al momento de realizar las din\u00e1micas de las aplicaciones.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algunos de los beneficios de la&nbsp; AR en la educaci\u00f3n son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Estimula el inter\u00e9s por aprender y asistir a clases.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Ayuda a romper el tiempo, lugar y espacios del aprendizaje, por lo que permite aprender sobre cualquier tema desde cualquier lugar&nbsp;<\/li><li>Permite conocer informaci\u00f3n sobre ubicaciones f\u00edsicas concretas, en la que los docentes , los alumnos y las familias puedan crear itinerarios, escenarios y experiencias basadas en la geolocalizaci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Mejora la interactividad, permitiendo visualizar objetos en 3D, para que los alumnos puedan explorar, por ejemplo, los principios b\u00e1sicos de anatom\u00eda, los artefactos de ingenier\u00eda o las obras de arte que se podr\u00edan ver desde diferentes \u00e1ngulos.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con el uso de la AR en el sector educativo, estudiantes y docentes est\u00e1n alcanzando otro nivel de aprendizaje a trav\u00e9s de la interacci\u00f3n en diferentes escenarios en los que tienen la oportunidad de&nbsp; entender de mejor manera las cosas que no queden del todo claras debido a la falta de interacci\u00f3n en el sal\u00f3n de clases.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A continuaci\u00f3n te presentamos algunas&nbsp; aplicaciones gratuitas de AR que pueden ayudar a las ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os en el aprendizaje:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4D Anatomy<\/strong>&nbsp; te permite explorar el cuerpo humano a trav\u00e9s de un aprendizaje tridimensional.
