Dennison en los sesentas para reforzar la concentraci\u00f3n y mejorar la atenci\u00f3n haciendo uso de ambos hemisferios cerebrales. La gimnasia cerebral consiste en&nbsp; hacer movimientos con el cuerpo para mejorar habilidades, perfeccionar destrezas y resolver bloqueos con movimientos naturales del cuerpo; creando as\u00ed conexiones neuronales nuevas que activan las \u00e1reas del cerebro. Este m\u00e9todo est\u00e1 basado en la teor\u00eda del cerebro triuno, de Paul Maclean, que responde a una clasificaci\u00f3n basada en la evoluci\u00f3n del ser humano como especie y resulta muy \u00fatil en el \u00e1mbito educativo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cerebro triuno y la gimnasia cerebral<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El cerebro triuno est\u00e1 conformado por tres partes: el cerebro reptiliano que se encarga&nbsp; de organizar y procesar las funciones relacionadas con los comportamientos de rutinas y h\u00e1bitos;&nbsp; el cerebro l\u00edmbico, o la parte emocional, se encarga de los sentimientos o deseos;&nbsp; y por \u00faltimo,&nbsp; el cerebro pensante o neocortex, la base del pensamiento humano, el cual nos diferencia del resto de los animales. Es el encargado del pensamiento racional y creativo, el lenguaje, la planificaci\u00f3n, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta clasificaci\u00f3n es muy \u00fatil para saber qu\u00e9 podemos pedir y esperar de los alumnos en funci\u00f3n de su edad y nivel de desarrollo, as\u00ed como sacar el m\u00e1ximo provecho de su cerebro, y ense\u00f1arles estrategias que les permitan manejar y equilibrar sus funciones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En concreto, la integraci\u00f3n de estas tres partes y el uso de los dos hemisferios, estimula el desarrollo equilibrado del cerebro, asegurando el funcionamiento y rendimiento \u00f3ptimo de todas nuestras capacidades y pensamientos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beneficios de la gimnasia cerebral&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En un inicio, la gimnasia cerebral&nbsp; se implement\u00f3 en ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adultos que presentaban dificultades del aprendizaje como d\u00e9ficit de atenci\u00f3n, dislexia, dispraxia o TDAH. Sin embargo, puede ser aplicada en todas las personas para mejorar aspectos como la coordinaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica y el equilibrio, el manejo del estr\u00e9s, la memoria y la comprensi\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n para sentirse motivados, mejorar la actitud y el comportamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este sentido, los ejercicios f\u00edsicos sencillos ayudan a estimular el flujo de informaci\u00f3n para el cerebro y el cuerpo. Tal es el caso de:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Movimientos de lado a lado: movimientos de derecha a izquierda o laterales, que ayudan a nuestra coordinaci\u00f3n hemisf\u00e9rica.<\/li><li>Movimientos de arriba a abajo: sirven para ejercitar el pensamiento abstracto y emocional.<\/li><li>De adentro hacia afuera: ayuda a poder soltar el cuerpo y por ende el estr\u00e9s, ya que este act\u00faa como un inhibidor del movimiento.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, sabemos que en ocasiones la atenci\u00f3n de las ni\u00f1as y los ni\u00f1os al llegar al sal\u00f3n de clases no est\u00e1 completamente enfocada, e incorporar ciertas rutinas de movimiento de gimnasia cerebral pueden ayudarles a&nbsp; mejorar &nbsp; la concentraci\u00f3n, memoria y el enfoque de los alumnos en clase. Estas rutinas&nbsp;pueden tomar 10 minutos al d\u00eda y sirven como un calentamiento al cerebro para prepararlo para aprender. Por ejemplo:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La lechuza<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Poner la mano en el hombro contrario<\/li><li>Apretar con firmeza<\/li><li>Voltear la cabeza del lado que toca el hombro<\/li><li>Repetir el ejercicio con cambio.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gateo cruzado (llevar a cabo lento)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tocar con el codo derecho la rodilla izquierda<\/li><li>Repetir el ejercicio de forma contraria.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Brazo extendido, manos abiertas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Extender los brazos frente a ti y&nbsp; abrir las palmas.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Tu mano derecha tendr\u00e1 la palma hacia tu rostro, y la izquierda hacia afuera.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Cambiar de izquierda adentro, derecha afuera.
